WHY VOTE YES
Vote YES to Repair School Facilities: Many of Mesa Public Schools are now well over 40 years old and in need of repairs and improvements. Proposition 419 provides essential funding to meet the needs of a 21st century education, while Proposition 420 gives the district the vital flexibility to manage, lease, or sell land assets.
Vote YES to Invest in Our Future: Investing in school buildings protects the community’s long-term assets. Propositions 419 and 420 will help modernize aging facilities, improve safety, and maintain property values while ensuring schools remain usable for decades to come.
Vote YES to Protect Our Quality of Life: Strong schools build strong communities. Mesa Public Schools are a primary reason we have enjoyed such a safe, family-friendly community for generations. We need to continue to invest in our schools to ensure they have the quality, comprehensive education necessary to maintain our quality of life.
Vote YES to Maintain our excellent schools: Mesa’s schools have built a long-standing reputation for being among the best in the entire State of Arizona. The district is recognized for its high-quality education with 21 earning an A rating from the Arizona Department of Education as well as 10 schools currently named A+ Schools of Excellence™ by the Arizona Educational Foundation. In all, 47 Mesa Public Schools have earned an A+ recognition, more than any other district in the state.
